PRE-OPENING EVENT
Ilya Kabakov's
In association with the Querini Stampalia the Mori Art Museum will be presenting a special exhibition of new work by Ilya and Emilia Kabakov to coincide with the 2003 Venice Biennale. Highlighting the importance of perspective, the changing nature of artistic taste over time and the estrangement of "new" and "old" art, the Kabakovs will build three separate exhibitions at different scales within the one venue. One will be on a gigantic scale, depicting the art and viewers of the past, one will be atactual scale, and one will show a miniature world continuing under the feet of the observers. Organized by Querini Stampalia in association with the Mori Art Museum,Tokyo.

Date: 12 June 2003 - 7 September 2003
