Artist Profile

Emre Hüner

Born 1977 in Istanbul, Turkey. Currently based in Istanbul after graduating from Brera Academy of Fine Arts, Milan, and completing the Artist Residency Program at Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam. Major solo exhibitions include "Aeolian," Rodeo, Istanbul (2013), "Salt 6: Emre Hüner," Utah Museum of Fine Arts, Salt Lake City, U.S.A. (2012), and "The New Horizon," Stroom, Den Haag, The Netherlands (2010). He has also participated in a number of group exhibitions including "MANIFESTA 9," Genk, Belgium (2012), "Busan Biennial," South Korea (2010), "Younger Than Jesus," New Museum, New York (2009), and "The 6th Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art (APT6)," Brisbane, Australia (2009).
