The Architecture of Sou Fujimoto Access Program “Hitsudankai – From now/here, Silence”
The Architecture of Sou Fujimoto Related Program
Conducted in Japanese
As an Access Program open to everyone, we will be holding a participatory performance by Sumiyoshiyama Minori titled Hitsudankai – From Now/Here, Silence. Large sheets of paper and pens will be provided at the venue, allowing the participants to communicate with Sumiyoshiyama and other visitors through writing. Following the rule that only one person can write on the paper at a time, why won’t you express your thoughts about The Architecture of Sou Fujimoto exhibition and the concurrent exhibitions using words, pictures, or images?
Additionally, from 10:30 to 12:30 on Saturday, September 20, there will be a Sign Language Tour where Mori Art Museum learning staff will introduce the exhibition with the help of sign language interpreters. After the tour, participants will share their impressions of the exhibition through Hitsudankai with Sumiyoshiyama and Fujiwara Chikara (Dramaturg). Those who do not use sign language are also welcome to join.

Sumiyoshiyama Minori (orangcosong)
Dancer and transdisciplinary artist. She studied architecture at the Kyoto Institute of Technology. Her work focuses on the relationship between space and the body, as well as on creating connections with audiences by crafting her own tools. It has taken place in Osaka, Kochi, Tokyo, Yokohama, Busan, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Taipei, Yangon, Yogyakarta, Makanda, Bilbao, Cyprus, Cologne, and Düsseldorf.
In 2019, she co-founded the art collective orangcosong with Fujiwara Chikara.
