With 610,000 Visitors & Counting (!!), “Leandro Erlich” Exhibition Finally Closes

2018.4.4 [Wed]

Leandro Erlich: Seeing and Believing” recorded whopping 614,411 visitors* in 135 days, and closed its curtain on April 1 [Sun], 2018.
This is the second largest visitor number to date, after the Mori Art Museum inaugural exhibition “Happiness: A Survival Guide for Art and Life” (2003) in its 15-year history.

Since photography and filming were both allowed in all areas of the exhibition, this “instagrammable” show became widely known via social networks. As well, the exhibition was featured in a number of TV programs and other media outlets, leading visitors of various generations to come to the Museum.

The next exhibition “Japan in Architecture: Genealogies of Its Transformation” that traces the lineage of Japanese architecture attracting worldwide attention will be open to public on April 25 [Wed], 2018. Keep yourself updated with the latest information!
