Mori Art Museum Learning is planning a variety of programs for children, schools, and educators, both in the museum galleries and online. We welcome inquiries from anyone who is interested!


School Programs

Would you like to incorporate art appreciation into your children’s and students’ learning?
We are available to consult with you on options such as gallery tours of current exhibitions accompanied by museum staff, or guidance sessions within the museum as may fit your specific curriculum. Please contact us by email at least one month prior to your desired program date and we will discuss the content details. We also offer online programs for those too far away to easily visit the museum in person or who prefer a distance learning option.

Admission Fees for School Programs
Preschool, Kindergarten, Elementary School and Junior High School: Free
High school: No program fee, admission 500 yen/person
University and Vocational School: No program fee, admission 1,000 yen/person
* Chaperones enter for free
* In the event of participation by teachers only, a fee is charged (e.g., teacher training, etc.)

School-Museum Program

In addition to viewing the Ron Mueck exhibition, educators and museum staff will discuss contemporary art, children’s learning, and collaboration between schools and museums.
The program is not only for art instructors but is also open to teachers of other subjects interested in utilizing the museum for their students.

Voices from Participants

Aoyama Junior High School, Minato-ku, Tokyo
Has arranged school tours since 2005. From 2014, the students themselves have decided and created class content. The three interview participants are, respectively, a student who plans classes, a student taking those classes, and an art teacher.
