The Ron Mueck Exhibition Surpasses 100,000 Visitors! Opening Hours on Weekends and Public Holidays to Be Extended from July Onward

As of Tuesday, June 2, 2026, more than 100,000 visitors have already come to the Ron Mueck exhibition, a mere 35 days after its opening on Wednesday, April 29!

The exhibition has garnered significant attention both domestically and internationally, with many visitors expressing their amazement at the realism and scale of the works on social media. There have even been days when queues formed at the entrance before opening.

In response to this overwhelming response, we will be extending our opening hours to allow more visitors to comfortably enjoy the exhibition.

In addition to the already extended weekend hours announced for June, we will be opening one hour earlier, at 9:00, on weekends and public holidays from July through September, including during the Obon holiday period from Saturday, August 8 through Sunday, August 16.

Whether during the upcoming rainy season or to escape the peak of the summer heat, you can comfortably enjoy the exhibitions in a temperature and humidity-controlled environment.

* Please note that MORI ART MUSEUM SHOP 53 (within the gallery) opens at 9:30.
