Come in the Evening for a Relaxing Experience! Visitors to the Ron Mueck Exhibition have now surpassed 300,000.

The Ron Mueck exhibition, currently enjoying immense popularity at the Mori Art Museum, welcomed its 300,000th visitor on Tuesday, August 11, 2026. Since opening on Wednesday, April 29, the exhibition has drawn large crowds, easily surpassing the 100,000 and 200,000 visitor milestones on its way to reaching 300,000 visitors on its 105th day.
Running through Wednesday, September 23, the exhibition has entered its final phase, and the galleries are expected to become increasingly crowded, particularly on weekends and public holidays. However, on weekday evenings (excluding Tuesdays), the museum is open until 22:00, offering a relatively relaxed environment to view the exhibition compared to daytime hours and public holidays.
Furthermore, in 2026, a year that saw the term kokusho-bi (extreme heat day) being coined, the severe heat is expected to persist well into early autumn. Why not plan to visit the museum for a night out as the heat subsides in the evening? In the gallery featuring his early masterpiece Angel (1997), the window screens—which remain closed during the day—are raised at night, allowing you to enjoy both the artwork and the beautiful night view. Whether on your way home from work, or before or after dinner, why not take a little time to contemplate Mueck’s works?
