On Tuesday, January 27, 2026, we will hold a special event, “New Year’s Party 2026,” exclusively for MAMC Fellow Members.
The event will feature a special talk session with acclaimed ceramic artist Kuwata Takuro—a figure attracting global attention and a participating artist in Roppongi Crossing 2025—and a Mori Art Museum curator. Following the talk, the evening will continue at the restaurant THE MOON on the 52nd floor of Roppongi Hills Mori Tower, where guests can enjoy food and casual conversation. We hope you will join us for this enriching occasion to celebrate the start of 2026 together with fellow art enthusiasts.

Born in Hiroshima Prefecture in 1981. Kuwata studied under ceramic artist Zaimitsu Susumu from 2002 and completed his training at the Tajimi City Pottery Design and Technical Center in 2007. He is currently based in Tajimi, Gifu Prefecture, where he operates his studio. Combining traditional ceramic techniques with his own highly original approach, Kuwata’s works have earned wide acclaim on the international stage.

2) For the Museum’s publicity, i.e., mass media coverage (such as newspapers, magazines, online media et al.)
