Notice of MAMC Individual Membership Period Extension Due to Temporary Museum Closure from Fall 2027

The Mori Art Museum will be closed from Friday, September 24, 2027 due to facility renovation and refurbishment works. The reopening after renovations is scheduled for late April 2028.
As a result, the membership period of current MAMC individual members whose memberships remain valid during the closure period will be extended by seven months, corresponding to the closure period.
Please note that new applications for MAMC individual membership will be accepted through Thursday, September 23, 2027. New membership applications will be suspended afterwards, and are scheduled to resume on Saturday, April 1, 2028.

Eligible Memberships and Extended Expiration Dates
- - For members whose memberships remain valid in and after October 2027, the membership expiration date will be extended by seven months, depending on your membership start month or renewal month.
- - The extended membership period will be automatically reflected in the system. No procedures or applications are required on the part of members.
- - The extension is scheduled to be reflected on Friday, October 1, 2027.
