Urgent Talk 006:
We Invite a Museum, Not the Museum Invites Us

In "Urgent Talk 006," Arakawa Ei (New York), Kimura Yuki (Kyoto), and Q Takeki Maeda (Berlin) will discuss the autonomy of the artist. What is the gap between actual Art and the art market? In order to hear different voices from artists themselves, we will have several emerging artists based in Tokyo present at the discussion. Also, those three artists will invite Kataoka Mami, the chief curator of Mori Museum, to add her perspective from the Museum. This talk is part of a larger project that was initiated at IZU PHOTO MUSEUM last September, and will continue at The National Museum of Art, Osaka on March 19.
