Ikeda Ken
A sound artist and composer who studied at the renowned Berklee College of Music, and who has lived in New York and London. His work spans the realms of sound, video, and spatial design. Characterized by delicate sonic compositions—often utilizing electronic sounds or custom-built instruments—his minimalist and tranquil approach invites a heightened awareness of space and perception. He works with diverse formats including installations, improvisational performances, and video works, navigating the intersection of experimental music and contemporary art. His work has been featured in museums, galleries, and festivals both in Japan and internationally.

Otonashi Fumiya
After conducting research into computer music, Otonashi took up the sho (a traditional Japanese mouth organ), studying under Bunno Hideaki, the former Chief Court Musician of the Music Department of the Imperial Household Agency and member of The Japan Art Academy. While continuously performing traditional gagaku (ancient Japanese court music), he explores ways to expand its unique resonance and underlying concepts into contemporary music and other expressive mediums. He has contributed to a vast range of musical projects, including Tim Hecker’s world tour, Shuta Hasunuma Philharmonic Orchestra, and collaboration with traditional performing arts from other countries. His extensive work spans films, video games, spatial design, video, dance, and installations—most recently including the Emmy Award-winning series SHŌGUN.
